With today's stringent noise regulations becoming more and more demanding, Nicholls offer a range of solutions for your system. We can supply the simplest straight through duct silencers right up to the large sound enclosures which minimise the noise transmitted from all types of equipment.
Ducting silencers can be added to any point along the system, the most common positions are on material handling pick-up points or inlets and outlets of filters, fans, separators etc.
The full enclosures are typically manufactured in galvanised steel panels which are bolted together and have access doors to allow for maintenance and repairs to equipment.
Typical noise reductions of 5 - 10 db (A) can be achieved.
