Nicholls Reel Saws are used for cutting the white paper that is left on newsprint reels to make easy and safe separation of the paper from the reel core up to a maximum of 400mm diameter reels. Once the paper has been separated it can then be baled and sold as a higher grade material.
Reel Splitters are used to cut larger cores of over a Ton in weight, 1m in diameter and 3m in length. The reels can be conveyor fed and removed after they are split.
