Nicholls have designed and installed a wide range of Filters suitable for many dust applications ranging from single dust bag units that are used at small wood working factories through to the a large reversed pulse constantly rated units.
Dust is passed through the Filter efficiently removing particles from the conveying air using a range of filtration media such a cartridges, socks & bags.
The Filters are cleaned by an method that uses an electronic sequence to initiates a pulse of compressed air which momentarily reverses the flow of air sending it through the filter bag which releases the dust into a discharge hopper. An option for a having a pressure driven electronic sequence is often utilised by our customers, this function will only start the cleaning sequence if the pressure had reached a pre-set level which will ensure the filtration media is only cleaned when necessary saving running costs of compressed air.
Nicholls Filters comply with all current Health & Safety requirements and will clean the air to a very high standard to achieve HSE and COSHH requirements which allows the large amounts of air leaving the building to be returned back into the building.
