Compactors can be connected onto closed bins for reducing the volume of urban and industrial refuse. They handle most types of product including wood, paper, cardboard and plastics.
Standard equipment includes 'early warning' and 'bin full' warning lights , automatic infra red photocell controls, easy and safe cleaning catchment tray and a fully reliable guillotine system that closes the container and safely decreases the remnant material when closed.
Nicholls manufactured 'Cogent Compactor' is available in two sizes ; 150 & 200 series. The 200 series is for companies who produce large quantities of waste. Both sizes work automatically and usually operate on a 24 hour daily basis.
